ProjectWET

What is Project WET?
WET stands for Water Education Today. Project WET is an international, interdisciplinary, water science and education program for formal and non-formal educators of K-12 students. In Tennessee, the mission of Project WET is to help teachers provide water education to their students with the goal of reducing nonpoint source pollution and improving water quality. This service is provided primarily through educator workshops.
Project WET Workshops
The Project WET Curriculum & Activity Guide is only available to individuals who complete a six-hour Project WET workshop.
Project WET activities are engaging to students, teach Tennessee water quality issues, and are provided in a variety of formats: inquiry, group, whole body, and more. Many workshops include a stream learning experience where location and weather allow. Please dress appropriately.
Project WET's Guide 2.0 activities are correlated to Common Core math and English language arts standards.
